Chuck and Tracy Black will help raise money for the Ski for Heat 2012 event Jan. 29 at Wild Wings Ski Center.
Ludlow — Ski—or snowshoe—for Heat 2012 will take place on Sunday, January 29 at Wild Wings Ski Touring Center in Peru. This event will benefit the Vermont Shareheat fund at BROC, providing heating fuel assistance for local individuals and families who are in need.
There is no trail fee and no registration fee to participate. Chuck and Tracy Black, owners of Wild Wings, have donated the use of their facility to participants.
Participants may come and go between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m., and ski or snowshoe for as long as they like. T-shirts will be given to the first 40 people who donate or bring in pledges of $35 or more.
