Rutland Town — On Feb. 20, Vermont State Police troopers responded to a single motor vehicle crash on U.S. Route 7 by Jerry’s Nissan in Rutland Town.
The operator Bethany Penoyer crashed her vehicle into a guard rail.
While speaking with Penoyer troopers noticed that she was intoxicated by her slurred speech, and the smell of intoxicants.
Penoyer was found to be intoxicated. Penoyer was arrested and processed for DUI at the Rutland Police Station.
